God’s Healing Power
So many people are sick! People are not just sick but desperate because their hope has been snatched away by comments such as “hopeless”, “too advanced” and “no cure”. It is a sad world we live in when the word of man overshadows the Word of God.
Have we forgotten Who God is? He is the all-knowing, all-powerful One who created everything ever made simply by the power of His Word! John 1 states, “In the beginning was the Word, and He was with God and He was God, and everything that was created was created by Him.” Who? The Word! What a compelling testimony of the power of God’s Word. Jeremiah 32:17 states, “Lord GOD! You made heavens and earth by Your great power. Nothing is too difficult for You!” NOTHING is too difficult for God. The same God of Creation is the same God who says “I am the Lord thy God that heals you” (Exodus 15:26). God has not changed and He will never change. His Word will never change. He is eternal, His Word is eternal, and His power is eternal. Yes, His healing power is eternal. Romans 1:20 says, :For the invisible things of Him, from creation of the world, are clearly seen, understood by things made, even His invisible attributes, eternal power and divine nature…”
We think “our” problem is just too big, too difficult. We ask questions like, “But what about MY sickness, my cancer, my heart condition, my diabetes?” It is critically important to believe God is omnipotent, that nothing is beyond the scope of His power. Jeremiah 32:27 states, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” In Matthew 19:26, Jesus says, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Even if God can heal this disease, will He give ME one little drop of His awesome, infinite power? Is it really God’s will for me to be healed? Let Scripture answer the question:
o Exodus 15:26 I am the Lord that heals you.
o Psalm 103: 2-3 forget not ALL His benefits: forgives all your sins; heals all your diseases.
o Acts 10:38 God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power who went about doing good and healing ALL oppressed of the devil because God was with him.
o John 10:10 the enemy only comes to steal, kill and destroy but I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.
Many people never experience God’s healing power. They do not realize He is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is His will for them to be healed and delivered from the works of the enemy. This recent testimony reveals the power and will of God to heal the sick. “I sent in a prayer request for my brother in law last week for healing of his sick body. He was on his deathbed. I needed prayers for help. Now, he is getting a fast healing. They have released his nursing care! The healing started immediately after I laid hands on him and prayed. Wow! He is getting better every day!”
If God did it for this man who was at the point of death, surely He will do it for you!
